Destinations in Halong Bay Halong Bay is a spectacular location for sightseeing in Vietnam. Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, it forms an amazing seascape of limestone pillars along with more than 1,600 islands and islets. Dau Be Island

 On the south-east side of Ha Long Bay, Dau Bê Island is 500 m from Hang Trai Island to the east, and 28 km from the Bai Cháy Tourist Wharf, in an archipelago comprised between the Trà Nguand Dá Le islands outside Ha Long Bay (seaport of Lan Ha Bay). It has an area of 22,863 sq. m, and its highest peak reaches 139 m. When speaking of the island, it is impossible not mention to Ba Hâm Lake, a famous spot which people had known long time ago.
